The one thing that’s consistent with high school basketball is the fact that nothings consistent. Changes are the norm, so expect for a lot of them this year. With June being the month for high school basketball, and Section 7 being one of the month’s biggest exposure events, we take a look at 2026’s with the most to gain from Section
Dashel Wiley
HEIGHT 6'1"
POS SG
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Faith Lutheran
Would be fun to see Wiley blow up at Section 7. The shooting guard has the ability to score it in a variety of levels. He is at his most effective when he can use his down hill transition ability to score.
Dino Roberts
HEIGHT 6'2"
POS SF
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Bishop Gorman
Roberts is another player I was introduced to during the Venom Rankings Run. He has an underrated handle, along with playmaking ability. Characterized by his coach as a “Glue Guy” It will be fun to watch the bouncy wing compete against Section 7 level competition.
Bryce Iwuoha
HEIGHT 6'4"
POS SF
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Centennial
Club: LV Knicks
Excited to see the stockrising 2026 player. Iwoha has been terrific this grassroots season, improving his game in every area. Watching him compete during Section 7 competition will go a long way to determining where he’ll land in the upcoming rankings.
Curtis Coleman
HEIGHT 6'4"
POS SG
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Desert Pines
Club: Las Vegas Olympians
College coaches looking for a High IQ, Stockrising winner, please stop by the court Coleman is playing on. Terrific basketball player that has good positional size, can shoot the ball and is a willing defender. He is also one of the top high academic players at the event.
Highlights
Hunter Iverson
HEIGHT 6'2"
POS SG
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Las Vegas
Iverson may not be a household name, however he is one of the most underrated shooters in the state. Keep an eye on what other skills he has evolved during the off season, as well as his ability to change the scoreboard with his three point shooting.
Highlights
Tyler Bright
HEIGHT 6'9"
POS C
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Liberty
Club: Paul George Elite
One of the top big men on the West Coast, has a chance to raise his profile even higher. Bright is a low post threat, that can score with his back to the basket. Betting on him flashing his stretch ability, which will only make him more of a player to watch.
Highlights
Devin Thomas
HEIGHT 6'4"
POS SF
CLASS 2026
State: Nevada
School: Mojave
So excited to see Thomas. Got a glimpse of him during the Spring Venom Rankings Run, where he spent a ton of time on the perimeter. Looking to see him bring that perimeter game to Phoenix, if he does, expect him to open more than a few eyes.
