But he decided not to ask Taylor and her guests for a picture on this occasion.

He announced: "Great to welcome Taylor Swift with all her musicians and dancers to the Hacienda last night.

"Special to also welcome Superbowl champion Travis Kelce, the legendary Stevie Nicks and Paramore.

"It was such a warm and genuinely friendly night, we did not request our 'usual' Hacienda photo so as to allow Taylor and friends the chance to properly relax and enjoy their well-deserved time off."

Many celebs have partied at Hacienda over the years including Saoirse Ronan, Domhnall Gleeson, Damien Dempsey, Ed Sheeran, Kings of Leon and Hozier.

The pub has become an iconic Dublin stopping point for Hollywood actors and international pop stars down through the years.

Ed Sheeran had an after party there after his sell-out Croke Park shows in 2015, before returning to the pub in 2017.

US pop star Oliva Rodrigo was there a few weeks ago, while Irish and other international stars are regularly spotted downing pints in the pub.

Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey became a regular in the pub when he was staying in the Morrison Hotel for a number of months in 2001 while in Ireland to film the movie Reign of Fire.

GAEILGE ERAS

And pop sensation Taylor's backup dancer Kam Saunders had crowds in stitches once again last night as he continued the trend of saying humour Irish phrases during the gig.

The stadium erupted with laughter when the dancer shouted 'ye bleedin' eejit' into the mic during We Are Never Getting Back Together.

On Friday night, Saunders said “Pog mo thoin” – a cheeky Irish-language phrase meaning “kiss my ass”, and on Saturday he said “The Neck of Ye”, where Swift would usually say “Like Ever” in the recorded edition of the hit.

Swift, later in the concert, pondered which of her Eras was the “most Irish”, continuing that she believes it is her album Folklore.

She recalled starting to write the song “two days into thepandemic”; when she created an imaginary world “living in a cabin in a really green and mossy landscape, very Irish”, adding the album is “all about story telling and you guys are gifted story tellers”.

As she said farewell to her Irish fans, she received a standing ovation, and much like the rest of the weekend she was treated to chants of “ole, ole, ole” for periods of the gig.

Swift is next heading to Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena for three shows, running from Thursday to Saturday.

She will then plays dates in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria before returning to the UK in August for five nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
